Our Design Process

Rather than a blank drawing board and some anatomical diagrams, our design process began by listening to people with FI and learning what they need from incontinence supplies. Worry-free workdays, the confidence to go out for dinner, a restful night’s sleep: these were our goals, and we set out to achieve them with myMiracle®. For someone with FI, we know that can be a lot to ask—but it’s not impossible. Mindful, candid conversations with those who experience FI, combined with our world-class medical expertise, makes myMiracle® possible, and we’re so excited to bring it to you.

Using myMiracle®

We designed myMiracle® to be easy to use and comfortable. Its flexibility and softness make for easy and comfortable application. Clear instructions will always be included with myMiracle® to best ensure correct, easy, and comfortable application, but here are the basics.

To use, individuals will place themselves in a comfortable, relaxed position. They then gently insert the device until it rests on the anus. During insertion, the fluid contained within the device moves because of the hydraulic principles at play. The movement of the fluid adjusts the shape of the soft silicone, and the insert actually shrinks. That’s how myMiracle® adapts and conforms to the body. Once inserted, the device remains in place until removed. myMiracle® is designed to be removed either manually or with a normal bowel movement. As during insertion, the device comfortably conforms and adjusts to the user’s body during removal.
